I bought a couple of Aristo FA-1s and turns out that one of them has a broken chassis, like it was dropped from 4 feet…
All I need is the plastic chassis, no shell, no trucks, etc.
I really want to avoid buying an entire loco.
help anyone?

Would an old FA, REA vintage, work for you? I know those FAs sat higher then the newer Aristo FAs.
David,
On Greg’s behalf, yes the old REA vintage will work.
Do you have one?
-Ted
Ted, yes I have one. I have plans to bash the thing, so I can part with the frame.
Since Greg has been responding to other threads, but no to me on this one, I wonder if he has blocked me…That would explain why he didn’t respond to me on another thread. So maybe I should just keep my FA in tact.

David,
I will try to contact Greg sometime later today.
Thank you,
-Ted
No, was busy all day yesterday running trains! Morning to dusk! G scale and Z scale.
Thank you for your offer David, can we talk money, shipping, etc. by email?
(I’ll have to post pictures of the dead chassis, neither Ted or I can explain how it was smashed, it’s smashed GOOD, but I did not inspect it carefully when I bought it at a show.)
THANKS! Greg
Ill be in touch
