Wanted: Aristo Diesel sideframes and wheels

Items Wanted:

  1. I’m looking for 4 Aristo diesel side frames (AAR frames from FA, RS3, and U25). Any condition is fine, but the older type (with bushings) is preferred. Brake details are not needed.

  2. Aristo diesel wheels. Must have the older style wheel with axle ends that mount in the sideframe journals. Stripped or cracked gears are fine.

I need 8 axles.

So you are looking for 2 trucks then? I will have to see if I still have them.

Thanks for looking…let me know what turns up. I essentially need two unpowered trucks and also the wheels to complete a second pair of trucks. I already have the “A-frames” for all the trucks.

I’ll check tonight. I’m pretty sure I have sideframes and wheels from a U-25-B.

Looks like I have four side frames plus the required wheels. The sideframes also have the bolsters and are the older bushing type frames. I may have more, still looking in “the pile(s)”.
