Walmart Christmas Lighting

While wandering through my local Walmart practicing my social distancing I discovered they had battery operated rope lighting for $3.88.

They had several colors but I think the warm white strand is what I will use. There are 18 lights in the strand but it can be cut to length

without affecting the remaining lights. They operate on three AA batteries in three modes: steady, blinking and fading. I will use one of

them in my lumber shed and maybe one in the shorty passenger car I am building.

I think I will go the Walmart tomorrow and check them out.

Went to Walmart yesterday, they had these lights, but just didn’t think I had a use for them. But, I did see a set of 100 LED soft white lights and thought it was a better deal, the price was $6.99, I didn’t buy them either, I think I will wait till Walmart drop the price on these lights to half price, now all I have to do is find out what day that is.

You might want to check that they turn on in the same mode as they were when you turned them off. I had some multi-function lights, and every time they came on they were at the first cycle - flashing rapidly. It got to be a pain to go and set them to “on” every time.

December 26th. My local Ace Hardware store marks all the christmas stuff down 75% on that day, and I used to buy big reels of warm white LEDs for the lobby tree in my condo for next year.
