Found this aritical that was sent in over a few Yr. ago from a Buddy of ours ( Joel Harrisons… A Aristo Craft 2-8-8-2 rebuild. ) that we helped build his layout so he can run this type of power using nothing over 1 % grade. He wanted his layout to be like the Feather River Canyon route grades.

In the Garden R.R. Mag. Issue April 2015, on pages 54 to 57.

Here is the video we did and held off until Joel H. got it in the Garden R.R. Mag. Sure is a very smooth running Eng. with lots of power.

That is one great looking loco. Your friend did a really nice job.

I thought the stack looked a bit odd. I went to the magazine and saw it is a clam shell type. You learn something everyday.

Nice video Noel. I was glad to hear you put in some of your signature music.
