Brain theres a reason you havent seen me diving into alot of the political rancor on this forum, I just firmly beleive no matter what I say, it will not change anyones mind.

I live by a simple philosophy, There are two types of people you cannot argue with, the Fanatic, and the Idiot. The Fanatic cannot accept any other viewpoint, the Idiot simply cannot comprehend one, and by “argue” I mean debate, discuss, etc. so I’ll just sit back and watch the monkey poop go flying…

I have to admit staying out of all the political rancor this time around has made this the most entertaining election in a long while. :wink:


Victor, I agree however you have forgotten a very important point about arguing with an Idiot, they will drag you down to their level where they are an expert!

There is a decided truth to that. One benefit from the argument, however, is on the off chance that an curious bystander walks by and is enlightened. Most people live somewhere between "fanatic" and "idiot" on the issues, and do stand a good chance of becoming more knowledgeable as a result of the discourse between the two sides.

Hey Steve, do you know what a lockwasher looks like? The Ventilator fits into that gap between the two ends, you squeeze that sucker and he's right there, cheek to jowl with both of them.
