I’ll take this opportunity to report that this past weekend was brightened for us all by the visit by two fine couples, who jumped right into the operation, and partying, that has become known all over as a “TYPICAL OVGRS WEEKEND”
It all started with both “HJ” Mueller, and his wife Elizabeth, sending me a note that on their way to Halifax NS, they were planning to stop over here for a visit.
Then, about the same time or earlier, Bill Swwindell, and his wife Susan, said they were taking a trip on AMTRk, from the far Left Coast to Chicago, renting a car and would be up here around the same time.
WE of course welcomed them both to pay us a visit.
They all arrived safely and in great spirits, on Saturday morning, and jumped right into the operation, and the party that followed.
We BBQ’d; enjoyed good holy water and shared tales of our vast experiences; becoming friends that felt like we had known for years.
Like all good things; the weekend is over, and both couples are on their way again, leaving us here with great memories of a wonderful weekend.
