We ran over to the coast today and visited Dick & Helen Smith and the beautiful Port Orford Coast RR.
Since my railroad, the Shasta Pacific, was dismantled last summer and everything stored I took an engine along
on the off chance that I would be allowed to run a 1:20 engine on his 1:24 railroad
. No problem, my bashed 3 trucker was
allowed to push a few log cars in from the woods to the Old Mill plant.
We had very limited time to play because we made the round trip in one day. We had a great visit with friends and a very good
lunch in town and had to leave way to soon.
