And I forgot to FTP the photos to the server… One moment please.
That is a really nice looking layout.
Nice layout , nice day , what could be better ?
Mike
Wow, beautifull bridge and water feature! Looks like a great time at a beautiful garden railway. Mike
I like that, good variety. The shade is nice in the summer, but coping with the leaves must be plenty of work.
Says he who should clean up all the Ponderosa needles from the last storm. GRRRRR.

You got them too, HJ. I’ve seriously considered making firewood out of the worst offenders, but SWMBO won’t hear of it.
I got a leaf vacuum, and it helps in cleaning up the leaves on the railroad as well as in the yard. But it doesn’t do so well with pine needles.
Maybe you need to build a track sweeper.

Nah, I just need to get off my butt!
And in a mast year, the acorns will be 8 inches deep.

Yea Hans, I am having the same affliction lately.
Maybe I should pull up an armchair and have a sit down with Mike.

Now there’s an idea, OTOH I’d rather pick up Ponderosa needles.
Hans, but there is a reason they are called needles. I would think a nice friendly conversation with another train…enthusiast would be more enjoyable.

Possible, but we each have our preferences and priorities. Picking up Ponderosa needles is just tedious, the prickly parts are their big cones, best handled with gloves.

Careful. Armchairs have deep roots and can be a bear to pull out.

Ah , the self professed comedians are at it again .
Anyway , there is no room without damaging more of my static locos .Actually , someone moved one today and I had to have a squirt of Nitrolingual , or rather , would have done if I could spell it . As it was , I contented myself with a quiet sob .(NOTE That is not an abbreviation for S.O.B. )

Actually, I heard or read somewhere that it depends on the cross section of the legs on the armchair and the weight being applied. But for all I know it’s probably one of those “urban theories”. Plenty of them around.
You forgot the square law Hans .
Tut tut tut .
