I apologize for the crappy vids. I was digging thru some old vids I took 15 years ago on my layout.
I got a run by of many of the various Bachmann’s that have been run. From kit bashed to out of the box. Rolling stock from scratch built to factory.
A mallet, 2-4-4-2 made from a Bachmann 2-6-0
Forney, Various ten wheelers, Climax, Shay, Factory mallet (in the circus consist), Heisler,
3 truck Shay, 2-8-0, and the yellow box cab was built using a Bachmann 44 ton center cab.
Did anyone notice the wrecked Big Hauler lying at the bottom of the curved trestle. It was wrecked there years ago and left there for a few years.
These engines belonged to seven of us that got together and ran as much as we could.
There are only 3 left now. You OG’s on this forum may remember one of them–Chuck Inlow.
These old vids bring back fond memories.

I ain’t an old guy (working on it ) but I really enjoyed Chuck as I believed he did the same!
Yea, Chuck was all Aces in my book.

That pic reminded me of a set of figures I did of some of the Geezers who have left us.
Chuck was a big guy, so I commissioned a sculptor to make me a 7/8 scale caricature of him.
Here is Chuck working aboard his 7/8 blacksmith car.
I also did one for Russ Macintosh ;
Dick Whitney who was the finest scratch builder I have ever known. His models were museum pieces.
Several of his models and drawings appeared in the Narrow Gauge Gazette.
This was the display at a club meeting held at Chucks home after his passing.
