What program do you use?
Who makes the easiest to use?
Ect, ect…?
CyberLink PowerDirector10, the learning curve is relatively easy, the features are good, comes with an audio editor and a whole bunch of stuff that I probably won’t use in this life time.
I use iMovie on my Mac.
For Windows the latest Movie Maker is free and it is easy to use. Does most things your likely to need.
On my Mac I use iMovie 11, seems to have a few more features than movie maker. I find it slightly less intuitive than movie maker.

In terms of home editing software, I like Final Cut. I’ve got Final Cut Express on my wife’s computer, but some of the guys at work are raving about Final Cut 10. I’ll probably get that when I upgrade my aging G5. The learning curve isn’t too bad, and it’s actually got some decent high-end chops to it. As my wife put it when I was trying to learn it a few months ago after I couldn’t get some video to load into the Avid software on my computer that I ususally use, “I haven’t heard you curse in 30 minutes. It must be going okay now.” I love my Avid, but I wouldn’t recommend it for simple “home use” at all.

Kevin,
That won’t get you far on a Win Machine.
