I’ve been using Tinkerecad <tinkercad.com> an on line, graphics-based 3D design tool. Since it’s designed for 4th graders, I can get it too!
Yes, TinkerCad is considered as among the easiest to use, but isn’t as powerful or let you do as much.
There is always a learning curve, but I picked up Design Spark in a couple hours use. Granted, I can’t do anywhere near what it allows/is capable of, but I can do what I want/need to do. And, if I want to do more (e.g., install a threaded opening), there are tutorials on-line.
