Vehicle Windshield Clarity Solution

My vehicles windshields/glass was always going bad after being outside awhile. I have found that Paplio Clear Laminate sheets provide some protection for up to 3 years. I’ve had one car outside for a full year and it still looks okay. Not perfectly clear, but still looks like glass. I try to put it on when the vehicle is new and take it apart. Makes it easier to get on a curved surface that way. Just cut it oversize, peel and stick and buff some. I use it on signs I’ve printed on the Paplio Ink Jet Vinyl and it helps them last a couple of years. I know others have this problem, if you leave them out as I do.

Is this the same stuff to protect cell phone screens?

No Steve, this stuff is real sticky and once it’s on, it won’t come off. I’ve started using it on the signs identifying my industries on the layout.

Does it help color ink jet signs on vinyl?

I haven’t used it on color yet. That’s what I want to find out.

Steve,

I put it on my ink jet vinyl signs also, seems to extend their life to 2-3 years.

I just brought in a car I had outside for a year with the Paplio UV film on it. The film was going bad, had some bubble/dull, but when I peeled it off the windshield underneath it looked fine. Just need to put new film on and put it back out. Seems to be worthwhile to put it on cars you plan to leave out.
