Use of Preen pre-emergent -- only "weeds?"

Mucho time ago, PREEN was offered on this site as a remedy against weeds. Makes sense!
However, is there any caution as to which plants can or can not survive the use of PREEN pre-emergent weed control?

We have remodeled our garden and installed over 150 succulent plants – whew! The question is: What happens IF we use PREEN?

Any thoughts if there is a hazard to the young (3" pots at application one month ago) succulents?

Thanks,
Wendell

Preen is what’s called a pre-emergent. It keeps seeds from germinating. It doesnt, to my knowledge, have any effect on already-growing plants.

But it never hurts to ask!
