USATs Challenger?

I’d say not likely in our life time, but should they ever come to pass, I’m in for a Gray hound.

1/29th of course. If I had to bet, I would say the next choo choos would beeeeee…

In the DAYLIGHT, FREEDOM Rings and thru the steam LOOKING FORWARD…

Diecast of course…

Nick

Would be nice, but I kinda lean toward a big Northern.
(Only after I win the lottery…  )

Your life time or ours??? did you ask ??? PLEASE!!!

I asked and then got the look ???

I believe it was the look of, are you out of your mind.

Or Maybe ?

Nick

Nick, personally, I think you ARE out of your mind, but working on the premise that if you don’t ask you don’t get, and if nobody asks, then they’ll never know how much these locos are wanted.

I’ve been asking Aristo-Craft for YEARS abut the Northern that they kinda promised back in 2005 or so…AT&SF’s #3751…? Nearest I could get to having ANY big Baldwin to convert to what I REALLY want - SP&S’s #700.

Bleeve me, buddy, none of them will EVER happen.

Rex Ammerman makes nice Northerns , might contact him. I did UP’s 844 last year, basing it on a Pacific.

I contacted Mr Ammerman a couple of years back, having seen his beautiful conversions on the Aristo-Craft forum, but he wrote back saying he only made them for friends.

If you are a friend, I guess that you might just get lucky.

You might talk to Rex A again, he may have been overwelmed with projects at the time.

I’m still looking for a 1/29th scale version of the Lima 2-6-6-6 Allegheny, which was even more powerful than the BigBoys. It also weighed more. Advisory Mechanical Committee power is all the rage… we need USA to release an NKP 2-8-4 Berkshire… or even better, a C&O version.

I agree Jason, A Allegheny or a berkshire would be awesome in 1/29th.
