USAT NW-2 Parts

When Hurricane Irene hit, we had the basement sanitized. I had all of the detail parts on a long piece of tape so I wouldn’t lose them, and one of the guys threw it out! I have gathered up (bought from USAT) all of the parts except for one group which has no part number. The parts guy said they were expecting a new shipment of NW-2s and parts from China. It’s been almost a year and they still don’t have them.
Maybe some kind soul here has a trashed model or the parts I need - will pay!
There are 3 pieces that go into each end to support the end rails. They are less than 1/4" high. The square bottom goes into the end. Then there is a round hole parallel to the end that a round bar goes through. Above that is a square hole that the upright support of the end rail goes into. I had spoken to someone else a while back and he was going to make his own. It looks too complex to make.
So if anyone out there can help, or better describe it, I would greatly appreciate it. I would also appreciate an anwser if any recognizes my description and knows what I’m talking about.
Thanks for any help, Lou

Pictures Lou?

Good luck I’ve been looking for those going on 2 years!
Sorry no can help.

if its the railing on each side at the front of the locomotive, i slightly enlarged the hole in the deck and dropped a short piece of brass tubing in the hole (sticking up slightly above the deck) and the railing now sits in the brass tube.

Are these the parts you are referring to?

The only time I have seen them separately was in a little plastic bag that came with an undecorated NW-2.

They do not come when you order the railings. Both a friend and I found out the hard way.

That was kinda the solution I was searching for and the reason I asked for a picture

Nope. There are 3 each front and back. Not on the sides. They go into the frame, and the legs of the railings go into them. Just like the picture above, but on the front and back.
Doesn’t anyone have a totally wrecked one to sell?
Thanks again, Lou
