has anyone removed the ribbing from the sides of the USAT 4 bay covered hoppers? if so may I please see the results? thanks

Edit to ask…What are you trying to accomplish ?
the two horizontal raised ribs on the side near the top. I am wondering if anyone has sanded them down for a more modern appearance.

John I understand wanting to see what the final appearance may be, but if you feel they will look more modern, sand them off and be proud of what you have and others don’t
