USA Trains tankers and Covered Hoppers

These are sold…thank you to one of our modelling friends in Canada who belongs to a really great club up there.

Pictures below thank you.

I have several of the long extruded aluminum real-as-it-gets tankers and also the really nice long hopper. Would anybody be interested in buying them for $60 apiece plus whatever the shipping is? They all have been retrofitted with Kadee couplers.

There doesn’t seem to be much demand for these because apparently a lot of guys have way too many already!!

If anyone’s seriously interested, I can supply more information and pictures if you like.

They are too big and too modern for my railroad and I am trying avoid ebay.

Thanks.

pictures would be nice to start with…

Gerry

I second the picture request, at the VERY least, a list of the different model numbers so we can look up the schemes at USA

Thanks Gerry and J.D for the input…I’ll do this tonight when I get off work.

Okay, as you can see there are six tankers and a four-bay covered hopper, all with body-mounted Kadee couplers. Four of the tankers and the hopper are complete with no missing parts. I will sell them for $60 each, plus the actual shipping. The two white tankers have pieces broken on the ends as the pictures show. I will sell them for $50 each.

Thanks for your interest,

John Passaro.

p.s. sorry if my pictures aren’t the best.

I’d buy the two white ones but I need to pay off a couple of other items first.

I’ve wanted to ask…are you related to the Cozads who founded Cozad, Nebr.? One of my favorite artists is Robert Henri.

Hi John

My mom thought so but there was lots of Cozad’s back in that area. Mom is into geneology real big.

I’ll buy the hopper and remaining tank cars, but I need to know the road number of the ADMX car in the background first.

I hope you have the boxes for them.

Hello Paul…the ADM tanker is 25776.

I wish I had kept the boxes because it makes it easier to ship, but I am used to shipping artwork so it’s not that big a deal. These have so many fine detail parts, though, that I’m going to have to be careful. I don’t have anything sent to me without paying the little extra for insurance, are you the same?

Thanks.

Insurance is a good idea in case the goods are lost or damaged.

Here is my e-mail address so we can discuss the other necessary details.

Sorry about the spaces but an email address creates some odd text. I hope this works.
