Went to there web site, I didn’t see any survey?
Do you need an account?
It was emailed to me but the link where you vote for what you would want did not work.
Also, they don’t have the K4 locomotive listed anymore…or at least a didn’t see it.
I too filled out the survey but finally gave up trying to submit it. Too difficult for me, and not worth the effort.

That was my experience, as well. If they want my opinion, make it reasonably easy to submit one.
I wonder if its too late for them to get your money back from the geek. (http://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-money-mouth.gif)
Shawn Conahey posted a link that actually works over on Facebook. (and the K4 is on this one)
Thanks Vincent. I just completed the survey and sent it off with no problem.
Sent it in as well with no issue. I would say that make sure you adobe reader is updated and also watch for a box after hitting submit that is asking what type of email you want to send the form from.
Interesting. I like the idea of a Dreyfus being produced, but I am sure it will be out of my price range. It would be nice to have a train of heavyweight cars, but 7 is a bit long for my railroad, and 7 of them would probably also be out of my price range. The other stuff is more modern then what I normally run. Except maybe the gons.
The heavy weight cars are noted as being sold seperate.
Vincent, I didn’t notice that. Then, maybe, I could be in the market for a few.
I would like to know the minimum radius these big guys need to operate properly…Jim
I got an email this morning from USA thanking me for my submission.
I could offer a few conservative guesses based on similar items. (Its possible you could go tighter)
Big Steam locos: 15ft dia or better
Diesel: 8ft dia or better
Freight cars: 8ft dia or better for talgos, 15ftdia or better for body-mount
89ft flats: 15ft dia or better
Passenger cars: 15ft or better, 10ft dia with ball bearing wheels.
So not only is the Dreyfus probably out of my price range, it also probably wouldn’t like my 9.5 footses curve. Or is that a 9.5 feetses curve?

Actually they are very conservative figures. The 89’ flats and passenger cars can certainly go tighter. Now whether they look right or not doesn’t matter but I can attest that cars 3’ long and shorter than that will do 4.5 radii/9’diameter curves with body mounted couplers.
