USA Trains Southern Pacific GP30 wanted

Hey all,

Looking for a relatively unused USA trains GP30 in the Southern Pacific Paint Scheme. I have a barely used USA trains GP-7/9 that I would like to trade for it. If you would rather sell it then let me know what your asking price is. The attached photo is what I’m looking for

Thanks!

Colin

Hi Colin,

Not sure if you have heard of or ever talked to Hans at Gold Coast Station up in Ventura or Tehachapi, but he sells/commissions the USAT exclusive SP Black Widow series cars. He would probably be your best bet for information on or locating a regular SP GP-30. I know it will probably be retail price ++ if he has it, but might be your best shot.

I have a UP GP30 and love it. Great puller and looks great going around the layout.

Thanks,

Chris

Naah. Colin’s looking for a GP30 in the SP gray/red paint scheme, not Black Widow. Best bets are to advertise “Wanted” in the USAT G Scale Group on Facebook or monitor Ebay for this engine.

I had what Colin wanted, wanted what he had, and we made the trade. He’s all set.

Thanks for helping out our BAGRS club President, Eric. Coincidently, a new USA Trains Southern Pacific GP-9 is at the top of my Christmas list. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif)

I don’t think he was expecting to find one in Maine!

He wasn’t expecting it to be on the main? Say what? (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)(https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
