USA Trains locomotives for sale

I have a GP-38 that has never been run custom painted as Yadkin Valley (G&O) #3616. The prototype ran in Rural Hall, NC until about a year ago… it’s now leased somewhere not too far away.

Note… the number NOW on the engine is 3616, like the prototype. The font was impossible to find at the time; I have a set of custom decals with the correct font that I’ll happily throw in if you want them; I just never got around to putting them on. I also have a GP-9 modified into a chop nose GP-10 … this locmotive was originally IC and later used by Yadkin Valley / G&O for several years, and also just left the property a short while back … it has also never been run.

I bought these, and then went narrow gauge, never to return… so they’re just orphans… the GP-10 is actually in a store window in Mt. Airy and has been for awhile… if you want it, you’ll have to give me a short while to go get it to send it out! Will work out a reasonable price… just ask. Matthew (OV)

And if anyone was kicking themselves for missing out on Mike Toney’s GP-7, the 8092 is quite a bit like it, only with dynamic brakes, exhaust shields, and IC air intakes… and it’s still available, along with it’s GP-38 cousin.
