Anyone interested in a USA Trains F3 A&B set?
I bought them with the intention of rebuilding them into the NS OCS power, but have now decided that I’d rather have the LGB F7 power instead.
I haven’t touched them at all for the rebuild. They were out of the box twice, once for the “before” pictures for my shop and once for a run on a friend’s layout (the dealer who got them for me wanted me to run them at least once before I took them under the knife, lol)
That’s sure a nice looking set, J.D… What’s the asking price???
I am hoping to be able to get 450 for the set. That is a reasonable price isn’t it? I’m afraid I’m not very versed in teh value of USA trains equipment since my main interest in their stuff is the intermodal wells.

The A unit is the 9960A if that helps. It’ll take a couple days till the last bank of snow melts in front of the workshop so I can open the doors.
