I noticed USA Trains has a flip page catalog just like Aristo’s.
USA’s has more pages. Aristo’s is getting smaller over the years.
This style has become pretty popular over the last few years. I have a love-hate relationship with them.
They would be alot better if the companies would update them with current pictures and product instead of old things.

I rather have the paper style catalogs. I guess im old school. I always enjoyed laying in bed (get your mind out of the gutter Rooster) flipping through the pages of a catalog rather then using my computer. I cant tell you how often I flip through my train catalogs a week. Theres no reading involved

The Aristo catalog is not being updated and will be phased out if I remember an Aristo post correctly. USA Trains do not have a very high profile in the UK, many dealers have complained of poor back up and no longer stock any of the range. One good dealer over here will order from the States every semester: Aristo does have the benefit of Bachmann UK as their importer.
Personally I am more interested in what stock I can buy NOW rather than have high hopes of something in the future - I guess that applies to many of us that have passed a certain age. lol

One of our club members works for Arsito and he said he has been trying to get Lewis to update the Catalog but apperently he does not want to. Guess you cant blame him especially with the way the economy is going and they have not really produced anything new other then a few things. Probably not worth doing a catalog for the few new things.
I don’t blame them for not wanting to print up a new series of catalogs in todays economic conditions but to not update the online version is just plain lazy. Their business, their choice. Clearly it did not prevent them selling out their entire stock of “On the Drawing Board” items.
I can almost understand not wanting to print updated catalogs, but electronic catalogs have no reason to be out of date.
