Uploading movies

One of a number of lists I subscribe to is NextDraft which talks about interesting articles for that day.

One appeared today is going to affect us when it happens.

When we shoot movies we often upload them to YouTube. Then we can post them in the Forums. That may change.

Apparently the day of free uploads may go away because YouTube is busy making contracts with various stars.

Can we still upload movies on the website?

Doug,

Do you have a link to the article?

Sure. I read a few thing into this but I think the handwriting (who writes?) is on the wall!

Could be, but I doubt it. They make oodles of money from their ads that run with many of those videos.

Signing the “stars” has more to do with getting the exclusives for certain productions, which their competition tries to corner.

Aw, You Tube “stars” are a flash in the pan. Just like diesel-lectric locomotives, cellular phones, and I pods.

Yeah, just like buggy whips will make a come back.

I’ve been told that there are at least 6 interesting things that you can do with buggy whips, and 5 of those things have nothing to do with horses.

As they say, it will always take all kinds.
