Thanks for the update. I hope and pray that her condition will continue to improve.
Wow, it has been awhile since I’ve posted a update.
Kristi is still in the hospital (KU Med in Kansas City) and she is doing a lot better now and able to walk a little. They were finally able to get the bleeding stopped and get her on blood thinners. The latest setback is that the doctor took her off the Heparin drip (IV) Monday evening and started her on lovenox injections and now the clots are getting larger again. This morning they started the Heparin again and will try another type of thinner when the clots start dissolving again.
Again THANKS for the prayers and thought
Rodney and Kristi
Rodney, glad to hear there’s improvement… I take it, she didn’t fly back to the Mayo clinic, as you thought would happen, the last time we talked…
Hang in there Rodney…We are still thinking of both of you up here in Minnesota.
Andy Clarke said:No, not yet. They need to get a injection type thinner to work before I will be able to drive her up there. The insurance is a messed up deal (Medicare being primary and Blue Cross as secondary cause I'm on Cobra to Blue Cross now) and they will not fly her up as long as all the needs are met a KU.

Keeping you in our prayers.
