The cab and backhead detailing

Ashpan and firebox

Tender A full accounting can be found on my blog (click the banner below). It’s in two installments, the one that features more “ready for the paint shop” photos and an earlier one that discusses the prototype and its basic construction. Later, K

Kevin;

Such nice eye candy. I know she will be even sweeter once you have her painted.

Best wishes,
David Meashey

Nice work!

Great job, Kevin, as usual! I enjoy all of your creations.

Are those tiny cotter pins on the ashpan and firebox?? :o

Bruce said ashpan and firebox!
Nice work
:slight_smile:

Bruce, if you’re talking about the links that go between the firebox and frame, then yep–those are cotter pins on them, made from a strand of stranded wire. They’ll probably get totally hidden once things are painted and weathered, but it was easy enough to add them when I was building the links.

Wow, what else is there to say. Great job! The fact that the subject is an engine from the EBT didn’t affect my opinion at all… See the beginning of the current shop project below…
