This date snuck up on me pretty quick. I think I’m free on Sunday - will try and make it. Times?

Never heard of the guys myself
I hope you don’t mind, my whole family wants to come. Put us down for 5. Two of us being treated to Father’s Day dinner afterward. Hot Dog Johnny’s has been discussed.
Not a problem Lou, all are welcome. Looking forward to seeing you. I hope Jon can make it.

Sorry to report that I won’t be able to make it. My car has developed a nasty clunk in the front end suspension - probably a tie rod end or some such. I won’t be able to get it to the shop for at least a week and don’t want to risk it breaking down far from home.
Unless Lou wants to take a 150 mile detour to swing by and pick me up!
Thtas not good news Jon. If you were closer I would come get you. I could meet you half way or so???
Sorry Jon, no can do. We are attending as one fappy hamily.
Oooh, spell check doesn’t like that!
I’m all excited. Going to bring the 0-6-0, a few cars and a caboose.

Had a wonderful day with Lord and Lady Viggiano, and the Pocono Mountain Garden Railway Society. We met so many new people of course I can’t remember all their names, sorry.
Will post pix later and edit this message.
Lou - Did you remember your mug shot chalk board?
Sorry I missed it, but I did spend the afternoon working on my RR - poured 500 lbs. of concrete to create the engine house floor. Today will pour the engine house foundation on top of that.
As always, a great time had by all.
Many thanks to the Viggianos and the PMGRS.

I’m just getting around to posting pix from the Kittatinny Mountain Railroad.
This is the first real Garden Railroad we have visited that was complete (as possible).
It struck my family how much different this was than the ones we’ve seen that were a circle or two down in the backyard.
Also how really different it is to compare pictures to what you see in real life.
I guess it’s like taking a picture of a scene on any railroad, and then traveleing over the whole line to appreciate the overall picture.
We were very impressed with the use of plants in the Garden Railroad, and I’m sure Mrs. Shawn gets part of the credit.
It gave me some ideas.
It helped me realize I should work on what I’ve got rather than just more, more, more.
The KMRR is very well executed. Shawn has completed many little complete scenes that you can enjoy individually.
Or walk around and take in the whole Garden Railway experience.
So enjoy this tour through the Kitattiny Mountain Railroad.
Here’s a nice overview from the deck
.
Wait! Is that Brunt’s Mill?
