It’s a copy of the prototype, they also use two units … just in case one of them dies on the way.
Oh…so I guess Via Rail has a lot to learn about operating passenger trains…In the Eastern corridor, Via runs at least up to seven cars, with one unit, with no dependability problems…what am I missing here…oh ya…Those old Alco units were not as dependable way back when…!!

If the engine units are LGB, the A unit is powered, and the B unit is not powered, but has the sound system in it…
They’re Aristo. And the A unit has a bent axle. It waddles down the track.
