Do they have bobcats in Engaland?
Nope. Unless you count the little four-wheel excavator-y type veHICles.
The nearest thing to a bobcat would be the indigenous Scottish Wildcat.
The Romans killed off most of the interesting widllife here, and those good ol’ boys back in medieval times killed off the wolves and wild boar.
Both, however, have recently been re-introduced - the wolves into Scotland and the boar elsewhere, and as mrs tac has just reminded me, European Beaver, too, again up in Scotland.
Sadly, the great animal love of my life, the velociraptor, has not been seen around here for around 65 million years or more. However, my granddaughter and I celebrate velociraptor tuesday, every, uh tuesday.

Ahhh…I miss the fire breathing dragons…used to provide a great fight…also served to light the campfires when out in my shining armor, saving young Lockmaster’s Daughters, from their brutal raping by the young lads from the South…
…ahh for the old days…!!
A matter of perspective padre, the gents had disdain, but the lasses told us it was the perfect Holiday!
