Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone can tell me where I can buy G SCALE U.S. Flags that would be suitable to use on buildings outdoors. I have checked out the local A. C. Moore Craft Store and a local Ben Franklin Store. Any information would be a great help. Thank you in advance for any reply’s.
Happy Railroading

I printed my own, using powerpoint. The flag was copied, then a second copy was reversed [to have front and back]. To print, I used a color lazer printer, printing on waterproof 4x6" lazer mailing label. If you don’t have access to a color lazer printer, you can take the digital file to Office Depot and they will print it for you for a small fee. After printing, I spray a coat of clear Krylon over the label. This process has been used for many signs and labels, and some graphics on rolling stock. Examples [sorry, no picture of the flag was taken though].

I used one of those little ones they sell for putting on bicycles around Independence Day I think it cost about 99c

Hello Again,
Thanks you for your reply’s.
Jim: I thought about printing my own but our local Staples does carry the waterproof lables.
Mik: No one in our area has the small flags that you talk about, they told me to check back just before the 4th of July.
The Lone Railroader: The local Lional Dealer does not have them and didn’t know that Lional had such an Item.
Again I say Thank You,
Ron
The local party store has them. Have you tried one of them. You might look in the tourist traps, too. They very often have them year 'round.

I actually found G-gauge sized Canadian flags on poles, at one of our local Micheals* outlets, a couple yrs back which has been weathering quite well outside ever since !
So I’m sure they sell u.s. flags !!!
It did slide down the pole last spring but easily fixed with some scotch tape wrapped round pole at bottom of flag to keep it at ‘full mast’ .
If you wish some u.s. flags as decals, I would think Jeff D. at “ShawmutCarShops” would be glad to help ya out !!?
