Large Scale Central

Two days of sunshine

I’m very busily completing more ladder roadbed.

Thanks guys! I’ve been working on ladder trackbed most of the day - a few more spacers and I’m done. Anyway, so I come in and that thread is locked. Okay, what happened? Read the last few post and couldn’t stop laughing’. I’m still laughing, but it’s time for supper.

OK so where are the pictures of all this work you got done? We want to see!!

Looks good HJ. A few pictures did not come up. I thought it gets cold in Canada. Its a lot greener then out here.

Had to set up a new folder, the other one is full. :open_mouth: Or the hosting outfit had problems with that server.

Yep problems with that server.

:frowning:

BTW I also had to redesign that large curved turnout, it only took three attempts — design, print 1:1, assemble the sheets — to get it to the desired “perfection”.

PS just installed the last ladder spacers — three left over means close calculations.

Looks good HJ, it looks like you’re getting closer to being able to lay track. Please keep us informed when you make your curved switch, I want to see how you do it.

PS Thanks for the pictures.

Chuck,

First I need to thread the Llagas profile into the Llagas ties - a very tight affair. That’s what I get for saving money on shipping and assembling.

Building more switches will follow after I get rid of “debris” aka scenery material and a few other minor adjustment before the snow flies.

SWMBO got back from that AGM with four tree samples

Will be interesting to see how they thrive i.e. how much trimming to keep them to size.
