Large Scale Central

Tunnel at Ridgecrest

I was pretty happy to catch this Norfolk Southern manifest train Sunday.

GE Spartan Cab on the point. Foreign power second out.

Old Southern boxcars. Southern, N&W and Conrail hoppers

What the crap…why isn’t the embedding working :frowning:

I’d give it a “thumbs up”, but there isn’t an icon for that anymore.

How about a reasonable facsimile…oI

Nice train… Thanks for shooting the whole train… There is no RR closer then 1 1/2 hr drive to me (other then the D&SNGRR) and it’s nice to see a good mixed up freight train.

Ralph you are getting a nice collection of railfaning videos. That zoom on the camera is amazing. I thought you were alot closer to the tunnel.

I have only one problem. When are you going to shoot video of that great looking garden layout of yours?

Ralph, great video…

Ummm Train Porn…Hey was that BruntHead meats the 3rd car in?

Glad you enjoyed the video, guys

Joe, I used the exact same code as you…but it didn’t work.

Rooster, Brunt’s Head Brand Provisions was spotted recently on the South Carolina coast.

Unfortunately the “half wit” photographer forgot to clean his camera lens :frowning:

I’m waiting for you to come visit so I’ll have some nice trains to video

I almost freaked out watching this. At 3:08 there are two outside frame gondolas of an unusual style - identical to those that originate in Danbury with construction debris…

I went back to look at the reporting marks and they were not HRLX (the local road here) but MWCX. The Midwest gondolas are identical design, but look shorter…

Forgot to add - nice video. I really enjoy the HD that can be paused to study details of cars.

What can I tell you Ralph. I must have a MAGIC key board.

Like your Ralph …

JOE ZULLO…How did you get the video to work…??? I copied the embed and pasted it in my test video post and nothing is working . Is it the old embed code. There is two difference types for old u-tube stuff to. but my new u-tube beta version doesn’t have the old code.

Great video to Ralph as usual

Great camera…

Noel,

All I do is copy the url from the address line in my browser and paste it between this code…

youtube][/youtube (replace the * with open and close brackets [] )

Must be this IE10 that is not letting me do the same as you did. Been trying all sorts of stuff on test post

guess try firefox or wife computer that has Vista in it… tks or the come back…

Just what I did, Joe. I checked your URL and code…exact same as what I posted.

Must be some bug in the new software. Worked for you and not for me.

Same here to Ralph… Non of our computers with win 1E-7.IE-8. IE-10 or Firefox in any of our three computers working like his is with the brackets and youtube in between. Must be some setting in the forums here? Works ok on the other R.R.site.

I notice Joe Z’s u-tube url doesn’t have the hole link between Brackets like we do.

His show this.

mine url show this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnIez6PqKE0&list=UU_ES3OQlv2XsZkyGd5GAb3g

Guess you and I need some lessons on how to set up our computers from Bob McC…

Noel,

On your video, Joe used the embeded url. I noticed when I tried to preview my post, IE popped up with a statement that “IE has modified your post to eliminate cross site scripting”

I’ve tried 4 different url’s for the same video. None would embed.

I’m guessing it must be an IE problem. Maybe a recent update to IE is causing the problem. I wasn’t having problems embedding video on the new site a week or two ago.

Here’s the same train entering Biltmore in Asheville.
