Tug for the Williamsport car float

Howdy folks. Trying to finish up some projects. Since Williamsport is getting rebuilt (its the last bit of deckwork made with recycled, and warping) wood, I figured Id also add some scenery. A few months ago I bought an incomplete tug kit on ebay for cheap. Spent a while getting the ribs right and sheeting it, and in the last few weeks built the deck and wheel house. She works out to about a 62 foot tug. NY harbor RR tugs were about 90. Here she is before I start adding details.

Not great, but a good tug-shaped object.

That looks great. Looking forward to seeing it in person!

Cool tug… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

I like it. It’s always a neat place where tracks collide with the water. You may find the size discrepancy an advantage when finding a place for it to fit. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)Can’t wait to see how this ship shapes up.

Great start Bob, I have modeled all kinds of boats-ships but never a tug. it just might inspire me. Keep the pics coming.(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

Sweet …which section of the yard do you plan on flooding?
