While doing some running around this morning, ran across this ““Train””…
Da Rooster is gonna like that.
Except, are we going to get a build log now on how to convert a Brandt rail truck from tandem drivers to a tri-axle?
WHO"S YOUR DADDY …DAD!!!
It is a tri axle build Randy. Now I’m gonna have to get it out and play with it! Wanted to run it on the timesaver but the timesaver was having frequency issues and the pick ups on the truck were a bit dirty.
Nice find Andy
Very cool.

That “Brandt” truck is a Canadian product…made and developed in Canada.
Rooster? I cannot believe you are blaming me.

I’m surprised it has enough weight to pull those cars.
Rubber grips gooder than steel on steel.
Easy to go, not so easy to stop unless the truck is also equipped with air for train brakes.
Jon Radder said:Most trucks operate with air brakes, so I'd assume, an airbrake connection wouldn't be difficult.... And, if what I hear is correct, a truck of that size is capable of moving about 11 freight cars, it would require an airbrake connection... I know out at the Okawville elevator, the trackmobile they have, will move 11 loaded covered grain hoppers, and it is equiped with an airbrake connection to the the cars....

Jon, look at the rear of the truck in the second picture… It sure looks like the air hoses are connected to me…
Andy Clarke said:Why............will you be flying in the next parade :D Ralph
