This is one of the saddests and funniest stories of the year! Funny for obvious reasons, sad because its such a waste of an incredible, but in kind of pointless car, afterall where can you really “drive” it? Oh well, as a friend of mine said “Just because you have the cowboy hat doesnt mean you can ride the horse” he’s looking at $10-15K+ for the bumper damage and possibly up to $100K because when he damaged the oil pan he probably wrecked the engine as well, not to mention the insurance hit. As the man said, there’s no such thing as a free lunch.
I often decline to enter those things wondering, “what ever would I do with it if I won it?”
Sell it and buy more trains.
Fortunately it was only a Lamborghini, not some expensive car…
Steve Seitel said:Yeah, it could have been a MGTB, or an Austin Healey 3000 MK III, or a Bug Eye Sprite. Something really valuable.
