It’s been awhile since my first “bash” but despite being busy on the Dirty and Dusty Railway I’ve finally gotten enough pieces to start. Hopefully I’ll have it done by the tine the Southwest show is at Fairplex and I can run it. I got the body from Victor Smith and a motor block from Northwest. It’s a Bachmann trolley but after it’s bashed it will be shorter. Here’s the “patient.”
It will roll better with wheels.

Actually I found a motor block that will fit it with some saw work.

It was originally going to be powered by an Eggliner motor block. Aristocraft “sells” them but no one has them! I think they use all they get for Eggliners. I didn’t find anything with the right wheelbase until I found one from Northwest Short Line that is made to fit the Eggliner. LET THE PROJECT BEGIN!
