Performed triage, debridement, specimen collection and prognoses this morning.
Mine:
Structure ok; roof needed a small section re-glued. Door & window resin castings are ok but came unglued. I removed all the platforms & stairs (which are loose) for minor repairs. The trestle, wiring & animated doors got trashed, as did most of the ore chutes.
However, the chutes and a number of 3d printed details were done in PLA years ago, and were getting trashed on their own already, so need replacement.
When I replace the waste trestle, it’ll be non-functional and all plex. The wood parts weren’t doing too well anyway.
Trestle:
Beants all seem fine, and snapped back into position on their bases with a little nudging. About 2-3’ of rail, stringers and ties need repair. I’ll have to cut the rails and re-spike them after timber repairs.
Mountain:
And area of about 3’ x 2’ broke and will need replacement. The facia for the cutaway scene was rotting already (treated 2-by’s suck…), and will get torn down. The posts are fine, as is the internal framing. Will probably re-work this opening to not have any exposed timbers, and look less chopped-off.
Fence-Line:
Need to repair the neighbor’s fence, re-lay a border strip of blocks, and rake out the dirt and chips resulting from stump grinding.
That’s about it.
