If I find my drawings I will be building a Firehouse. Gonna be a big challenge due to daily Overtime at work.
Work is work of course, Travis, and we all know about work conflicts, but the Challenge this year could make up an entire town’s worth of structures, including a church. Where would our Challenge town be without a firehouse??!! What if a fire started up in my mine shaft? or lightning strikes the lumber yard? I hope you can find the time for your build.

We will have a nice town when we are done won’t we. We have engine houses, an equipment shed, a station platform, a freight station, a church, a mine, and oil rig, a restroom facility, an amusement park attraction, an ice house. Man we are coming right along. We certainly need a fire house.
Its funny how that little thing called work is always getting in the way of our desire to have fun!! You’ll find the time Travis. Now go back to looking for those plans. I like fire houses. I actually lived in one for a summer back when I was in Jr. high school.
Found the plans. Gonna make some changes.
This will be a thread I will follow with interest Travis. I spent nearly thirty years in and out of firehouses so I am more than curious about your build. Good luck!

Ok, I have my plans and will modify them some. This will be more of a rustic type firehouse. I am trying to find the motivation today to start making sawdust. After working last night and 3 hrs sleep I cant seem to find it… So maybe a nap will work…
The fire House ground breaking has started!..
Jeez, whiner, three hours of sleep during the build challenge might as well be considered a vacation. Glad the crew got their lazy butts out of ed and broke ground.

Due to a fire from a lantern left lit after milking the cows, A fire broke out destroying the barn near town. Fortunately Bessie, and Elsie escaped unharmed. Now that being said. The farmer decided the local town needed a Fire Dept. With funds raised from Milk, Cream, and Ice Cream sales the material was acquired and a new Fire Dept was constructed. Ground breaking ceremonies were held on Jan 15th. and the construction began…
