…I remember “Shut-up”, and “Sit-down”, then a few friends found an old “Soap box”, and gave it to me, along with a list of lonely places I could take it to, to stand on it.!!!

I often wonder how many “Fires” contribute to these “Firesales”
.........and how many "Blows" contriute to a famous Trainworld "Blowout sale".
.......and how long it takes for someone, after they purchase one of these "Twity" looking starter sets, to want a real loco and rolling stock, that actually resembles some real stuff that they might have seen.…as far as the famous, almost monthly 10% discount sales…it seems I have been able get most stuff I have ever wanted, at less than their prices, by simply picking up the telephone and calling several dealers that are not as far from me…
…and they were much more willing to send the items by US Post, saving me great amounts for Brokerage, that UPS charges…
…but then I live in “The Great White North” and shipping to us is a game few Hamericans need to play…!!!

Man I feel left out. I have been here for almost a year and never got picked on and made to feel like I need to call everyone names and leave. I guess I am doing something wrong.

Fred I have no idea what you mean by “twity”… what real trains? unless there 1:1, there all toys to some extent

Andy yes I found one that works. The USA one. Love it. I might have to make the move to diesel now. and yes all they do is go in circles. I modled it after you.

As long as the weather is nice, no wind, warm, and I hold my toung just right all the locos work. Funny how they did not cover that part in the mag on how to biuld a garden railroad.

Got my LGB modern tankers delivered today…while the price was ‘hot’ they were seriously cooled off burried under the 4-5 inches of snow we got today! Never saw these up close and personal before, they look great. Replaced the wheels with SV nickel plated ones and am very pleased. Thanks again for the tip!
