Large Scale Central

. . . trains in Jacumba Ca

I was down south to San Diego county last week. Stopped ( as I always do ) in Jacumba. Nothing much changes there but it is open to access all the time while the trains museum in Campo is only open on weekends.

Both ends of the caboose are looking good with fresh paint . . . . and the interior has been painted.

How do I upload pictures ? I haven’t done so in ages. ? I’m confused.

Added . . . the 23d . . . too damn compurcatered fur me ! :frowning: I seems to me there used to be a fairly simple method of uploading photos to the photos files ? and then linking them to the post ? . . . Anyhooooo… . . . . . here are picture I took recently in Jacumba Ca. The caboose pained nicely on the ends and the interior. Sides still needing a paint job.

Jacumba is a little community just off of Interstate 8 in eastern San Diego County Ca. It is off to the south of I-8 a few mile to the west of the long grade that comes up from the low desert and the El Centro area. Well worth swinging off of the freeway for a visit if you are ever going thru that way. In Jacumba take Railroad St. to the north. A couple of blocks to the trains. This area is always open. The Train Museum in Campo is only open on weekends.

That’s a link to my pics.
Bob???

It links to my, or any member’s freight shed, who clicks the link

Bob has the photo gallery disabled.

NGL,
Would you please delete the link?
Thanks!

John, The link isn't hurting anything. If you click it, it goes to your freight shed. If I click it, it goes to my freight shed, etc. Ralph

Oh, OK.
I thought every user linked to it.
It’s still a little weird.
