Trains and Locomotives (RFDTV)

I don’t know how many of you get the RFDTV channel on cable, but here in SE PA RFDTV has a program called Trains and Locomotives on Verizon FIOS at 6 PM on Monday nite. (Channel 247.) Last night was a 1/2 hour show about the Rio Grande Ski train, followed by a program about privately owned passenger cars. A few weeks ago they ran one about the Maine 2 footers. One week was an excursion by 4449 along the Columbia River out to the Dalles and back.

They have run 2 programs about the Ohio Central RR which from what I gather is a half revenue freight operation and half operating locomotive and train museum.

My Dad told me about this about 2 months ago, but I kept forgetting about it. Then he started calling me and reminding me. Finally I pasted a Post-It note to the TV and the computer so I wouldn’t forget…:wink:

Dish carries it also Ken same time and day, but the channel is 231 I believe.

Yea, I knew Dish carried it, but I didn’t know about the time or the channel. Thanx, Dave.

Nice and it looks like you can also watch it online for those that dont get it or have to work Monday nights.

Direct TV has it on the RFD channel.
