Large Scale Central

TrainOps 2015

The really weird thing is this map…

makes the layout look tiny. It is HUGE.

As I stated in an earlier post, this highlighted area is bigger than my entire layout.

Hehe…but my layout takes a LOT longer to switch…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-foot-in-mouth.gif)

Stan’s does too, when you go the wrong way… hehehe (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

wow Bob and Stans layout look great. One of these years I have to make the trek up. Only problem is I will be a little busy next summer with a cough cough baby.

Gee Shawn, when I read the beginning of your post out on the landing page, I thought, well Shawn and I have the same problem, kids. Seems your looking for more trouble. Congratulations you horny little devil!

Hehehe…Yeah congrats Shawn.

This is EXACTLY why he needs a larger RR Randy if he would have been LAYING track instead this never would have happened!

Goats are a problem…(Kids)

Jane managed to get 2 photos of Al’s layout with her phone…

Below is the back side of Al’s garage… Pic shows Al, Ric, and my nieces 2 kids working the line:

Below,my nieces son is sitting on the step just below the track across the stairs… at the right, is where the track enters the basement thru the crawlspace, to the towns on the left, out of the picture.

Below is a pic of Bob’s layout, with kids running a Bluestone Southern NW-2 and 2 coal cars…

These are the only train pictures we got all weekend…

Jane,

Thanks for the pics.

Sure wished I could have been there!

I had planned on being at Al’s, then onto Bob’s and Stan’s.

Even knew where I was going to stay at or near both places.

Life got in the way(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cry.gif)

A great big “THANK YOU” to everyone that contributed pictures to this thread. I very much appreciate everyone’s efforts.

If we could only get Andy to name the kids…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-embarassed.gif)

As I recall, Tyler and Caitlynn?

I wanna know what you guys did to Al too make him sweat so much!

Sweating wasn’t just for Al… We were all sweating… Dew points were 75 or higher…

Bruce, yes, but don’t ask me how it’s spelled…

Interesting statistic from the train manifests. Crews moved 3,782 tons of goods during the Saturday op session.

18 trains. Three full sessions of 5, plus a few at the end.

Nice being able to see what I couldn’t attend.
