TrainOps 2015

Unfortunately we are not going to be able to make it this year. I promised Marilyn a trip to Denver to spend some time with our grand daughter and see Matt’s new house. The only flights we could find that didn’t conflict with our work schedule fell on this weekend :frowning:

I’m excited about going to Denver, but will really miss operating with you guys this year.

Yup, I know how that goes. Plenty to see around Denver. have fun!

Another positive note - now that I’ve delivered (or at least booked & paid for) the promised trip I’m “allowed” to do train stuff again  First up is the Father’s Day Meet at the Pioneer Valley Live Steamers (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Damn, we’ll miss you. :frowning:

Decided to go ahead and make reservations. Luckily, the Holiday Inn had one room left - I’m glad I thought about it.

One room left? Martha’s party is getting bigger! This should be fun.

Man, now I gotta sleep in the truck, again???

TrainOps 2015 is fast approaching. In order to coordinate lunch and dinner Saturday, and lunch on Sunday, I’d like to get a head count of who thinks they’ll be here during those times (Friday, traditionally, we’ve ordered out pizza) So shoot me an email and let me know.

Jean and I plan to attend all days possible. It’s always a great time.

Bob,

Saturday and Sunday down your way. folks planning the Friday morning @ my place need to PM me as well for head count and directions if needed.

AL P.

It’s on my schedule.

Jane & I will be arriving in Mass sometime Monday afternoon, so I can catch up on seafood and visit family before the trainops… Will be at the Ops, with my Mom and probably my nephew, as far as is determined as of now…

Didn’t make it up to Al’s layout last year, but sure would like make it this year, if possible…

Jan and I plan to be there for Al’s, Bob’s and Stan’s events. Please mark the two of us for all of this. GOD willing and if the creek don’t rise, ah hell we can get around the creek, GOD willing we’ll be there.

Less than two weeks away!

Anyone going through central OH and willing to pick up a dwarf railroad signal for me if I buy it? Its about 125lb.

What part of central ohio???

He’s in Xenia…

Looks like that is by Dayton, below 70.

125lbs. Whew!

Yeah, Ric… According to mapquest, about 30 minutes south of IS 70…

Yeah, I saw that, what time you going to be going through there? We were planning to go up to Bloomington, tomorrow and go across I-80. I sent him an email. 125 lbs. I would need help loading.

I sent him an email also… If we pick it up, we’ll leave here Sat, noonish (15th) and get a room somewhere, eastern Indiana or western Ohio, so we can get it sometime Sunday morning, if he gets it…
