Good stuff
Railway looks spectacular. I wish I didn’t live so far away (SoCal). I’d love to join the fun.
Just got unloaded. We got a late start from the campground today with Ric and Jan following into Connecticut. Had a nice lunch in Sturbridge, MA, but with all those factors and traffic too it was after 5 by the time we arrived at the CVSRy. Ric and Jan only had time for a short tour and a quick run of the buggy. They were going to try and make the campground near Port Jervis by dark.
I’ll try and go through pictures tomorrow and post a few up.
We had a great time and can’t wait to do it all again next year!

Great pics. Glad you got some of the passenger train at dusk.
Thanks for getting some pictures of my engines Jeff as I forgot to take some while they were running.
Sorry I had to miss it this year, but it looks as if ya’ll muddled your way through it without my help…
Joesph, here’s another pic

Nice photos. Everyone seems to have had a good time.
We got back to Carlyle and our home campground on Wednesday evening about 5 pm. Have a few pictures to post, when there is time. Great trip, thank you to everyone. Fantastic railroads, thank you all for sharing.
Finally got the camera dumped last night. Here is the first batch.
Friday morning, Rick and I drove up to All Pomeroy’s RGS of New Hampshire. We both had a great time running a train each direction on Al’s wonderful indoor / outdoor railroad. We were pretty busy so only a few pictures were taken, but unfortunately I had my camera set to the wrong mode and didn’t notice until we were almost ready to leave. I managed to salvage a few, but they aren’t quite up to my standards.
Here CVSRy Shay #5 makes it’s way across Bridge 45 with a string of cars bound for Ophir…

Al has built most of his switching sections indoors in both his basement and his barn. Here is a rather underexposed shot of Ric and Al in the basement…

I figured out the camera screw up in time to get a good shot of Al’s interchange shelves. I like the idea of a raised center Vs cutting groves in the shelving…
Later in the day we headed to Bob’s. I have a few shots of the Friday and Saturday that I’ll post soon…
And here are the rest of my pictures.
We arrived at Bobs around 3 on Friday and quite a few were already there. My pictures will concentrate more on the people as you’ve already seen lots of the railroad and the ops.

Maggie runs CVSRy Porter #3 and Caboose #10 around the layout with Bob, Andy and Ric in the background. Unfortunately the stack on #10 was just a bit too tall for Bob’s only tunnel…

Another accidental underexposure due to a setting goof, but I had to post Joe Lupinski’s beautiful UP diesel set. Joe with his back to us and Marilyn Radder and Jan Golding way in the background…

Everybody’s favorite part of Saturday Ops was lunch! I don’t know all the names, but I’ll give it a shot. In strict left to right: Old friend of Martha’s, Jan Golding? Don Howard, Don’s wife, unknown, Bob’s son Will, Al Pomeroy, Martha McCown and Stu Moxley…

I didn’t take any pictures on Sunday at Stan & Debbie Ames’ session. I was having way too much fun!
Looks like everyone had a great time, Got to love this hobby.
