Train Sequence from "The Mask of Zorro!"

This is a documentary. It was filmed as it actually happened. With all the swashing and buckling that you could ask for! :stuck_out_tongue:

I particularly like the fact that pushing the throttle forward opens it fully, and causes the pressure gauge to start rising … the first readable number in the ā€œredā€ being 25!

My understanding is they couldn’t find a train suitable for what they wanted and used CGI, models, and a full size mockup for the closeups instead!

Didn’t those cars actually have link and pin couplers ? I dunno?

I was really impressed at the acting ability of the horse . Especially his eyes widening at the sight of the tunnel . But the SPCA should know that the horse went without a drink for too long .
It’s amazing , though , how it was all done in one take with several cameras .

Nice looking girl , too .

Pure fiction.
We all know ZORO would have whipped that bloke’s arse while blindfolded with one hand tied behind his back

You mean its not true??? Say it ain’t so. Of course Zorro is factual, just like the hand cranked movie cameras used to film the sequence so we can see this preserved history today.
I’m off to look at new product release notices now, I need some ā€œfactualā€ information.
