That’s all I got!
Hopefully for those that have never seen this amazing railway will get some idea of just how incredible it is.
Fantastic weather for both days, and both railways are a lot of fun.
Thanks to Bob for having a great website, and to Bob, Stan, and everyone involved for putting together a very memorable weekend!
What are the dates for Train Ops 2014?
Tk’s for all of the photos… very nice and looks like all had a wonderful time there. Nice and wish we were there for all of the fun…
Looks like everyone had a great time. Bob and Stan’s layouts look terrific! Thanks Vinnie for posting the pics. Regards, Ron
Just scanned in the flyer that they had out for today:

I think Vincent needs to be the Official LSC Event Photographer…
I second that;)
Guys, thanks for sharing all of it. It sure looks like it was a great weekend.
Vince, you did a bang up job of recording this event. It was great meeting you and your girl friend. Tried like hell to convince him to run a train or two, but he seemed quite happy just takin pictures and that is much appreciated…

Maybe next year I will be more into operating, this year I was just in awe looking at the layouts!
Well, I’m a LOT slower than Vincent in getting my pictures up.
You sure did a nice job documenting both days - it’s great to see so many good pictures.
Jean and I arrived Thursday afternoon as we wanted to do some birdwatching Friday morning. Not only that, but I refuse to drive on I-95 on Fridays.
Some early shots - before any trains were out.
The redone yard at Burke.

Friday afternoon and we headed over to Bob’s. No operations, but a bit of time to socialize and run the trains around the layout.
Richard and Ken look on as my boxcab leaves Burke yard.

The Canadians arrive and get a tour of the railroad. Stu, Doug and Paul listen to Bob’s description of updates.

Saturday morning and it’s time for operations!
The rolling stock is set out in the yards from the storage sheds, and then sweeper trains take the cars to the correct destinations. Paul looks to be supervising, while Jon awaits commands.

The JMRI operations software produces car set up lists to assist us.
We get a briefing from Bob and then it’s off to operate trains. L-R: Al, Stan, Bob, Doug, Ken.

With two engines working the yard, it’s not long until we have trains organized for departure. At the same time, we run a local that moves some cars from their industry locations into the yard.

I never got to see this train leave the yard!

Any chance you left that engine behind?
