Ahhh yes the old lady is here and a lot of us will be watching along the tracks as she goes past on her way eastward.
I’ve taken other visiting train fellows down to the Brooklin Yards to see this beauty along with SP&S 700. Might fine engines of the past.
One should make ever effort to see these engines if all possible. When you walk up to the engines and stand next to one of the drive wheels, they are six feet high !!!

Hey, old fardt in Or-e-gun, who does one get an invite to the roundhouse. My daughter-in-law and grandkids live in Vancouver, WA.
Next time I visit them, how do I get in touch wid youse?
Howdy Well you send me $20 and away we go. Naaa just kidding… Shoot me an email if your in town or about to be nearby. You or anyone can just drive down there and look around. Real easy to find. 19th & Holgate go under the bridge that is over Holgate and then go along the tracks going to the left. You will see the roundhouse and turntable straight ahead. Just walk into the roundhouse and lookie see. Now they are or supposed to move to OMSI
which is not too far from there. You can see the sign for OMSI off I-5.

Oh gee ! I forgot to mention that we are in Maui Hawaii May 14 thru the 29th. No way I can help then. And then we might be moving back to Los Wages in June/July.

The Daylight is spending the night in Michigan City. It leaves at 9:00 AM eastern time and is due in Durand at 4:00 PM. I’m sure there will tons of people along the tracks everywhere and especially in Durand but we are going to try making it. I want to be on the north side of the tracks so I can get shots of it with the station in the background.
