Got a slow start this year on trains and trackwork in general, but Im now galloping apace. Here’s the next 50 or so feet of mainline, headed downhill toward the colliery complex. Got it dug, landscape cloth under it, and sub-ballast (rock dust) in place and tamped down. Raining like heck right now, so it’ll settle nicely. I hope to have this, and another 50 or so feet of track down in the next couple of weeks.
