Large Scale Central

Track size

i just bought a box of arestcraft 3 ft long croved track no art 11800… how wide in ft is the cercle it will make ???

robert, according to ““google””, ART 11800 track is aristo Euro style ties, 10 ft diameter…

Should be a 10ft dia.

Must have posted same time Andy.

Robert,

That would be 120" diameter on the center line of the track. The outside diameter will be slightly larger by the width of the ties.

Bob C.

thanks guys

Can you blame him? Here he has a pack of guys all out to put him in a stewpot (not necessarily 10-ft diameter) … and maybe a chickenhawk on his raggedy tail, too … wouldn’t you be sensitive?
Now, where’s my fricassee recipe …

Haha I dont wont to hurt his feeling too bad, after all I want him to show up friday night at York :)

Actually, you will find that the aristo track is metric and it’s a bit less than 10’ diameter (center of ties to center of ties)…

There’s a table somewhere of the sizes…

ahh… found it: http://members.westnet.com.au/susprog/AristoTrack.htm

about 2 inches less than 10 foot… and the sizes are actually metric.
