Maybe, but I doubt it. Canon cockers are hard to scare off. You have to have at least two neurons to rub together to know fear.

Hey I resemble that remark

Sean,

funny you should mention an article. I am putting the finishing touches on the first installment. I took pictures of the untouched area and am writing up my preliminary vision. However, I am making sure to proof read it and fix my spelling and grammar because I know Joe and Fred will read it. I have to keep my fans happy. So hopefully today the first of my build article installments will be ready.

Yesterday I moved a bunch of wood, racked up some leaves and started on taking down the play area.

I started a build log article for this layout. Now I have to do it.

Lets see if he can build this as fast as his signature is growing! (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Put that build link in your signature!

Oh sure,

Complain about the size of my signature and then suggest I add to it.

Who me …

I really like the CR&N design, I will have you design mine… when it hits me what to name it. Wife says use grandkids initals, so …

Sorry Pete,

I did not design it. That is the real header of the real CR&N. I scanned a hand written letter from the president of the company written in 1887 and then took the image to paint and touched it up until I had the logo nice and crisp. It gave me chills to be holding an over 100 year old hand written document from the founder of my favorite railroad. Pretty cool. He was buying railroad ties.

Excellent Devon!

I think with many things in life we have to just do it. I know it’s a Nike ad, but it does hold true. Go tear up some weeds and clear out the junk! Then do what I often do: stand there and visualize the thing. Once you can start to see it clearly in your mind, you will get more and more excited and motivated. I usually go out in the evening after a day of working on the layout and look over my progress, just think about what is done, what can be done better and what’s next.

Looking forward to following your phase 1 progress!

Hey I totally get this. I have a chair in my wood shop. I often will just sit in there quietly and look at my tools and my wood and inspiration comes. Motivations coems, relaxations comes, and satisfaction comes. Modeling is much the same, sometimes I just pick up the model and observe it waiting for it to speak to me. So I get where your coming from. By the weeks end I should have a blank slate.

Devon are you having second thoughts? (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

No by blank slate I mean the area will all be grubbed out and ready for construction. No second thoughts. . .I am way past second thoughts. . .somewhere in the mid teens.
