Track at almost $200 a foot?

I’m sure this must be an Amazon search engine snafu…
I really doubt anyone would attempt such a rip-off
One seller, maybe. But not four of them

That there, sir, is P.T. Barnum Inc. in operation.

At those prices I won’t be purchasing any more track.

As to the offer, they really did themselves a disservice by not including the words “rare” and “collectable!”

People will snap that rare & collectable stuff regardless of the price.

Happy RRing,

This review is from: G Scale Bachmann Straight Train Track Single Piece (Toy)

Folks, please be aware that this press steel track usually sells for Far Less than $100/section. Do yourself a favor and shop around. You can buy an Entire Train Set, including a circle of this track for about $170. It is not intended for outdoor use, but works pretty swell under the Christmas Tree. For those interested in Largescale Trains, you would do good to look into a few online forums. LargeScale Central and MyLargeScale. YMMV

Thanks! Your review is being processed.

Thata a pretty boilerplate reply from an automated system, I doubt whoever put this up is really expecting to get the ludicrise price asked. Its more likely a typo from a bad input from one of those 3rd party companies that will put stuff on Ebay or Amazon for people.

Its still really funny to see how much attention gets paid when some folks post stuff for sale, they never heard of proof-reading I guess, or it was input from a smartphone ?

Also strange is the other offers noted – in particular 50 pieces of track for one price. Possible, is it not, that the price is for 50 sections?
